Challenge: CPA continuing education involves certain accreditation requirements rarely offered through expensive, off-the-shelf products.

Solution: I built a system that caters precisely to the specific needs of these particular consumers, providing a superior customer experience not found on other platforms.

Challenge: Content experts tend to be dependent upon 3rd party aggregators to reach their own customers.

Solution: I created a comprehensive delivery system that allows instructors to reach their own customers on their own terms (price, frequency, branding, etc.) for a much larger share of the profits.

Challenge: Complex, multi-layered instructional program was being administered by expensive, inadequate, and single-layer event-management tool.

Solution: I rebuilt the program database from scratch using Airtable. The new system cost significantly less and better accommodated product line complexity.

Challenge: Covid and PPP put the industry in a panic. The organization wrestled with the best way to lead without significant loss of revenue.

Solution: I created a plan to educate membership with critical outreach in the form of free, on-demand videos; then making that content available later that week for inexpensive CE credit. The organization would be able to maintain its knowledge-leadership position without sacrificing millions in revenue.

Challenge: Large-scale, commercial online course delivery systems lack the features required by the regulatory agency. E-commerce system did not accommodate group purchases.

Solution: I developed specifications, architecture and program plan to build a proprietary delivery system, eliminating large annual sums spent on customizing the existing, inadequate service.

Solution: Our team understood the consumption dynamics of our market and how they differed from other sectors. We convinced skeptics to allow us to pilot the concept, and then created an unprecedented product-line, increasing dept. annual revenue from $50,000 to $5 million.

Challenge: The existing technological infrastructure was ill-suited to accommodate our ambitious goals.

Solution: We worked with venues and modified our equipment, enabling us to broadcast 120 live events from dozens of hotels and conference centers. As a result, the organization successfully transitioned its predominately live catalog, to one that was predominately online.
